Could be a badly worn reverse band inside the transmission, the reason the fluid backs up the dipstick tube is the fluid is getting too hot and is rapidly expanding, this will cause a total transmission failure soon. It already maybe too late but get it checked by a transmission shop, after the repairs are completed you should consider putting on a transmission cooler, it can really help with the life of your trans especially if you do some towing.
