I have a 2005 Ford Taurus and it is leaking coolant
really bad. I pulled up to a department store with my
wife and we were in there literally for 10-15 minutes.
The store manager announced over the loud speaker
for the owner of the taurus to come to the front.
When we got outside, all the coolant in the car had
leaked out and was all over the parking lot. I poured
water in it to see where it is coming from, and I can
see it pouring out of a whole next to a bolt on the
front passenger side under the car, but that's not
where the exact leak is coming from. The water
pours out like a faucet is running.Does anyone have
a clue what might be the problem, because I don't
know much about cars?
That sounds like a broken heater core nipple as you said by a bolt on the body and not the engine, have it towed to a shop you trust cause if it is a heater core problem it is not going to be cheap to fix and a dealer price will be completely insane.
