these things are fragile and can break with only one mighty pounce, perhaps a large item broke that one day, anyways a person has to take the steering wheel off and service that, you need a perhaps 5/8 socket and no 2 Phillips, a "steering wheel puller" might make things a little easier~ there are a lot of replacements out there try partsgeek.com
