Recently changed water pump in my 1997 chevy monte carlo 2 days later it started making a horrible grinding and high pitched squeal. took pump back n put new one in & still making noise. any ideas?

Check all idler pulleys, the serpentine belt tensioner, and the belt. Make sure the AC pulley spins freely too.
