Drain and refill all fluids, drain and flush the fuel tank, pump, and lines. New air filter, inspect/replace belts and hoses, inspect/renew brake linings, lubricate all fittings, replace tires if car has been resting on the old ones. Buy a new battery, replace cables if corrosion is present. Some pull the spark plugs and add oil, marvel mystery fluid or a squirt of trans fluid and let it sit for a day to lube up the rings. I might be missing something.
