Question type: Maintenance & Repair

seems to be running fine no missing or shaking, been told if you wait too long wires may fuse to plugs

1 Answer

Usually 100,000 miles is the replacement mileage, if the ignition wires were put on correctly from the factory they will not fuze to the plug, if they didn't use the special grease then you may be in for a hassle. If that has happened replace the plug wires when you replace the plugs and don't forget the special grease but use sparingly. Buy a good set of wires and plugs, it might be expensive now but you won't have todo it again for another 100,000
