I have a 2002 g.prix It died while I was in the store , and now it won`turn over
The car was running , I went in to the store. when I came out it had died , the clock has reset to 12.00 and will not turn over even with a jump. help
Sometimes a battery's cell shorts out and you won't be able to jump it with another battery, sometimes you need 2. But I'd inspect the battery first, see if it truly is shot. 12.3V or higher is what your looking for.
thanks sounds reasonable I will look at that.
Since the radio reset to 12:00 I'd say you lost all power for at least a moment. Check the battery and alternator connections. All should be clean and tight. Don't forget to check the battery ground (-) cable where it bolts to the chassis. HTH. -Jim
