is it worth it to fix yet another thing on this car? it now needs an alternator and crankshaft position sensor. i have put in a new water pump and replaced the timing chain, oxygen sensor battery
i also replaced spark plugs and wires.
problem is it runs for awhile and dies.
my lights flicker then the abs light
comes on then my battery light. if
jumped it will run
yeah just go used those cars dont last the second owners long enough to warrant brand new parts i havent seen one running over 200k on the odometer but there cheap and easy to fix until then
If you hate the car and could afford another car and payment, go for it. I rather fix what I have, it's cheaper. From your symptoms, it does should like you need a new alternator and charge up your battery. The ABS light might be a dirty wheel sensor or a faulty one.
Abs light could even be from the alternator losing power and the module shutting down.
