I just put a new fuel pump in my 2002 Ford f250 at idle if I punch the gas it stalls

Recheck the fuel pressure, even though it is new it still could be a bad pump or the wrong one, miss boxed at the warehouse. If your pressures check good, then start looking for a sensor misread, a " live data" scanner will really help with this. HTH
