chevy cavalier turn Signal light

Asked by Apr 09, 2016 at 03:51 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A couple of weeks ago, my left turn signal started
blinking fast, ive had the problem before in other
cars, no problem I just changed the bulb.

A few days later it started blinking fast again, I
noticed the socket was really dirty...cleaned it and
then it worked for about 30 minutes until it started
blinking fast again.

Is this a dirty socket problem? Or fuse? I checked
my emergency signals, both worked properly until I
got out and looked at my tail lights and noticed
only one was blinking.

Bad socket or socket ground or it could even be both.
