1963 wiper motor checking

Asked by Sep 09, 2016 at 02:30 PM about the 1963 Ford Thunderbird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1963 thunderbird with power steering driven wipers, I have a small leak but NOT in the pump or steering rack, the only place left is the wipers motor or lines that work properly, I can get the top panel ( windscreen to hood) off ok but still cant see the wiper motor or the lines that lead to and from it. also when I turn OFF the wipers they stop correctly but I'm left with a "BUZZ" sound, also I'm losing oil, not much but enough to make me want to solve the problem as I need to prepare the car for a long continental run. , are there any rubber lines as well as the steel lines. and can someone explain HOW I get access to the motor to check
thanks everyone  Neil Willis
