HP upgrades

i have a 74 with a 350 and im looking for cheap power upgrades, i heard getting heads off of a chevy pickup with a 350 was the best option but i dont know what year or what model to look for.

get newer vortec heads and a matching intake from edelbrock and if u can afford throw in a RV cam

305 heads from 1977 castings last three dights 416 62 cc give you 300 hp go to a site called mortec.com give all engine and casting numbers?check it out
