Brake light

I have a 1995 Chevy Cheyenne 1500 and when i
step on brakes driver side brake light turns off. But
the running light still works when you release the
brake. Checked bulb and fuses. Even changed out
the brake switch. Still no luck any help?

Possible grounding issue or the IC board inside the light assembly.
