I have a1998 Nissan Maxima thats transmission is going, I also have access to a 1989 Nissan Maxima with a good trani will they match up? They are both auto & 6 cyl

While both use a 4 speed automatic, I'm not sure they will just bolt up. I would contract one of your local transmission shops to verify, I'm sure you can find one that will help you.
