I have a 2004 tribute and it will surge idle on its own while I'm at a stop or in park and neutral

Idle surge random but does it a lot  and some times will act like it is sticking on cruise
even when I don't have it on

Sounds like a dirty throttle body, clean that and the IAC as well. Check www.youtube.com for some videos on the procedure. It involves removing the air intake and air filter and using some throttle body cleaner.
