2001 Kia Spectra hatchback jammed closed and I need to replace brakelight

Asked by Jul 28, 2016 at 11:33 AM about the 2001 Kia Spectra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2001 Kia Spectra's hatchback is
jammed so it can't be opened but
the sensor shows it is open.   Is
there a way to access the tail light
assembly screws to change a brake
light by going through the inside of
the car?  I would appreciate any
suggestions because car won't pass
inspection until my brake light is
working.  THANKS!!
