Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok this morning I went outside to start my car.... I turn the key to crank the
engine and it turn but engine wouldn't turn on. Plus it was very cold last night
then usually. i tried several times to start it and give up and caught a ride to
work. Now i been up to date with the maintenance and had no problems till
now. Is my engine giving out? or Does the cold temperature effect my dodge
dart car?

Put voltmeter on battery terminals. Red to positive and black to negative and set meter to volts DC. Reading with car off? Keep voltmeter wires on battery and have someone try to start. Don’t try too long. Keep your eye on volt reading. How low did voltage go? 10V or lower? Replace battery.
