Used 2015 Dodge Dart for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2015 Dodge Dart cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 342 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Dodge Dart a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Dodge Dart earns 4.8/5 from owners and 7.5/10 from experts. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its performance, comfortable interior, and fuel efficiency, and many also like its sporty feel and handling. The Dart’s larger-than-expected cabin and practical everyday usability make it a fit if you want a compact car that still feels roomy. With 28.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s also a decent amount of market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Dodge Dart reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many people have found dependable enough to live with happily over time, especially for its comfort, performance, and fuel efficiency. Expert commentary also describes it as built on a solid platform, which supports the impression of a car you can count on for everyday use. The cost-effectiveness notes mention transmission problems and electronic gremlins, so used buyers should pay close attention to service history and how the car behaves on a test drive.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Dodge Dart?

At 49.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had bodywork or electrical repairs. Focus on how the transmission shifts, whether warning lights appear, and whether the car feels consistent in wet conditions, since some owners have raised concerns there. A careful condition check matters more here than chasing the lowest sticker price.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE starts with a 2.0-liter engine, manual transmission, CD player, 16-inch steel wheels, and a USB port, while the SXT adds a 2.4-liter engine, Bluetooth connectivity, steering-wheel-mounted controls, and cruise control. The Aero brings a 1.4-liter turbo engine and manual transmission, and the Limited adds an 8-inch touchscreen, power seats, 17-inch wheels, and a 7-inch multifunction display. The GT adds a tuned suspension, revised engine calibration, 18-inch wheels, and Nappa leather.
• Powertrain: The Dart offers a 1.4-liter turbo 4-cylinder, a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder, and a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder. The turbo engine is available only on the Aero and can return more than 40 mpg on the highway if driven carefully, while the 2.0-liter is straightforward and the 2.4-liter is the strongest and most fun of the group.
• Safety package: Standard safety equipment includes driver and passenger airbags, knee airbags, antilock brakes, child seat latches, electronic stability control, and traction control. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, and parking-assist features are available only as an option on Limited and GT trims.
• Infotainment: The Dart includes a standard Uconnect AM/FM/CD radio with 6 speakers in most trims, while the SE has 4 speakers. Pricier Aero, GT, and Limited trims get an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen, and the Limited also adds a 7-inch multifunction display in the instrument cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: The 1.4-liter turbo engine is capable of more than 40 mpg on the highway, the 2.0-liter manages well into the 30-mpg range on the highway and drops into the 20s in city driving, and the 2.4-liter returns mid-30s highway and low-20s city.

Which 2015 Dodge Dart trim should I buy?

The 2015 Dodge Dart is offered in 5 trim levels: SE, SXT, Aero, Limited, GT.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the cheapest way into the Dart, but it is also the most basic. You get the 2.0-liter engine, manual transmission, and a stripped-down feature set, so it makes sense mainly if price matters most.
• SXT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the 2.4-liter engine, Bluetooth connectivity, steering-wheel controls, and cruise control without jumping too far up the ladder.
• Aero: Choose this if fuel efficiency is your priority, since it is the only trim with the 1.4-liter turbo engine and can be paired with a dual-clutch automatic.
• Limited: This is the comfort-and-tech pick, with the 8-inch touchscreen, power seats, 17-inch wheels, and the 7-inch display in the cluster.
• GT: This is the sportiest trim, with tuned suspension, revised engine calibration, 18-inch wheels, and Nappa leather, so it suits you if you want the most aggressive feel.

The safety suite with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, and parking-assist features is optional on Limited and GT trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Dodge Dart?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 342 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 49.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $6,638, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Dodge Dart's resale value?

The current average of $6,814 sits slightly below last year's $6,830.

That small decline suggests the Dart has been holding value fairly steadily rather than sliding sharply. For a future seller, that usually means you should expect a market that rewards clean condition, good maintenance records, and desirable trim or equipment rather than simple age alone. Because the price range has stayed tight, a well-kept example should remain easier to position competitively.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Dodge Dart safe?

The Dodge Dart received 5 stars for safety from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and mostly Good ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The Dart received only an Acceptable rating in the notoriously difficult small-overlap crash test, and the Dart earned 5 stars in every NHTSA category except rollover crashes, where it earned 4 stars.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes driver and passenger airbags, knee airbags, antilock brakes, child seat latches, electronic stability control, and traction control. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, and parking-assist features are available only as an option on Limited and GT trims. The small-overlap result is the main caveat to keep in mind if crash protection is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2015 Dodge Dart or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 49.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a Blacktop appearance package on SXT trims and keeps the roomy, value-focused formula.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $6,444, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $6,814 average.
• It emphasizes safety, cabin quality, and infotainment.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $7,183, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $6,814 average.
• It offers a bigger-feeling compact with an efficiency-focused optional engine.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price stability, owner satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2015 is the main target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2014 is the cheaper path; if you want the later-year version and don’t mind paying more, the 2016 is the alternative.

How does the 2015 Dodge Dart compare to the 2015 Ford Focus?

Our experts score the 2015 Dodge Dart 7.5/10 and the 2015 Ford Focus 6.3/10. The Dart comes across as the roomier and more personality-driven choice, while the Focus leans more toward mainstream compact-car practicality. The Dart also has the stronger expert score and a lower average used price, which makes it the more appealing value play if you want something a little less ordinary. The Focus, however, has the edge in accident-free share and slightly better city fuel economy.
