2010 beetle red salsa

Asked by CATLADY Dec 14, 2011 at 04:51 PM about the 2010 Volkswagen Beetle

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

i am looking for a 2010 NEW BEETLE in Red Salsa.  I found one but I don't understand why the wheels on this Beetle is different from the pictures I see of other 2010 Beetles.  I thought each year had different standard wheels?

It is either a more expensive optional wheel, or an aftermarket wheel. You may have never seen them before on a Beetle because it is rarer because it is expensive, or simply because it does not come as an option and is from another VW or an aftermarket wheel.

There we also several optional wheels available. The standards were 17" or 16"...optionals usually were larger, offering more performance or a different look. They could also be aftermarket wheels...if so, you should check for proper offset and wheel well clearance.
