I have a 96 Yukon 4x4 I just had the transmission rebuilt and it slips from 1-2 but when I in-hooked the Tps it shifts fine just early

The transmission is computer controlled, so when you disconnect the TPS it put the system into default so it would shift from the basic programming factory installed. I recommend getting it live data scanned, it is possible that you may have some sensors that are not sending the correct signals but are not so far out that the computer is still believing the readings and making setting according to that. Also double check the sensor and transmission solenoid ground pathways.
