Car over heating

I’m looking at buying a dodge stratus the guy says
it Still runs but he thinks it may have a head gasket
leak. It Runs fine but starts to boil over at operating
temperature. Could it be the head gasket or
something else?

Hard to say without some testing. If you really want the car, tell the guy you want your mechanic to inspect it first. Your mechanic might change you an hour's labor, but you'll know exactly what is wrong with it and how much it will cost to fix. Then use that info when agreeing to a price.
