HELP!! 96 sebring 6cyl motor turns over fuel pump is working but it wont start. Had timing belt replaced less than a month ago. Drove car @ 2 wks an it kinda cut out an cut off. Any idea what it may be or what can I check or try. It does have gas in it

It can be a few things but one of them is either the fuel pump, and the other is the distributor. I had that happen on my 99 and I replaced the pump first, and then replaced the distributor and it was running afterwards. Both are easy to change. But also make sure to check the fuses too.

Did You check for a spark? Also check Your crankshaft position sensor it may have a poor connection or a bad sensor that cuts in and out.

Thank you, I changed the distributor and now the fuel pump works sometimes. Guess i will be changing that next.
