Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, I have a 2005 opel corsa lite 14i. On my
way home the timing belt shed teeth idling
at a intersection. No noises, just died. Now
my understanding is that this is a non
interference engine? Only problem is I don't
seem to have compression. The only thing I
can think of is there are bent valves but that
shouldn't be possible? It's never overheated,
used oil or missed a beat in the 297000km
I've had the car and I service regularly. I
need to replace two hydraulic lifters as they
have started to be a little noisy. Any help
would be much appreciated!
