Ford F-150 History

The most popular entry in Ford's market-dominating F-series of trucks, the Ford F-150 is a favorite workhorse for farm and ranch, as well as a choice for tuners and off-road enthusiasts.  Available in a variety of trims and configurations, the Ford F150 is a real American legend, a rugged muscle truck with power to spare.

Although styles and options have changed throughout the years, reliability and durability remain the hallmark of this solid pickup. Gas mileage tends to be surprisingly decent for a vehicle with this much power, and recent models offer a return to fuel economy not seen since the late 1970s.

The F-150 continues to be a mainstay in Ford's line, and a favorite bargain in the used car and used truck marketplace.
