Pros

*Powerful* motor, and good fuel economy for the amount of power! Comfortable ride, quiet, and nice amount of cargo space. Handling/steering is very nice. Tows a trailer with small tractor, or boat with considerable ease. Good traction in inclement circumstances, even without 4 x 4 engaged.

Cons

Fuel economy could be better, but so is the case with all trucks. We have averaged 19ish mpg on long, leisurely drives.

'02 F-150 Xlt Ext. Cab 4 X 4: Good Investment — As of 9/2014: Purchased with 49k miles on it, and close to hitting the 100k mile mark on odometer. There have been no major mechanical problems with this truck, just regular wear and tear. Oil and filters changed religiously (not synthetic), and belts, etc., as needed. K&N air filter installed at time of our purchase; cleaned as recommended by K&N. Body/paint has held up well, even though normally not parked under any cover. Some 'fuzzing' of seat covers, but otherwise have proven very durable. Dash, console, etc., holding up well. It's not a daily driver; it is used for hauling and hunting, and as an extra vehicle as needed. Would buy this particular one again, and no qualms about heading off on a long trip in it!

All Around Great Perfomance Truck — I like everything about this truck, it runs great and 4 Wheel Drive works wonderful with you are need of it. I would rather have a CD FM/AM radio then the stander tape deck that came in this vehicle from factory...

2002 Ford F150 Xlt Fx4 — I bought the truck before I had kids and loved it. I still love the truck, but I need something with a little more room. The 5.4 has plenty of power for pulling boats, wheelers or even smaller campers. Very reliable and reasonable fuel milage.

2002 Ford F150 Harley Davidson Black & Chrome. — I love everything about this truck so far. Even with the high fuel cost,I still enjoy this truck. Handles very well, comfortable seats, and plenty of power for me. I wish Ford still made the Harley Davidson Editions with Superchargers.

Ford — Has been a great truck. Low maintenance....good interior....love the 5 speed....v6 lacks power a truck needs. I have 8' lift in front 6" in rear. I have over 125k on this truck. The only problem I have had was a front spindle bearing. 4wd works good.....paint still looks good...interior is nice..cold ac...

2002 Supercrew — Like the truck has served me good. I dont drive to much but love the way it handles and the ease of maintenance. Looks good and lots of room in the SuperCrew. Leather is also a nice option to have.
