ProsLooks great, feels great, good visablity '04 style has bigger pillers, Cheaper 17" tires way more choice then 18", Its a Ford FX4. ConsDoor trim keeps comeing loose, no electronic shift but floor shift works great, and hard to reach the oil filter for shade tree mechanics.

A Pleasure To Drive.... — My first 5.4L V8 truck. I find it has lots of towing power and plenty enough power to pass when you need to. The ride is firm but not overly so, with responsive steering. Paint job was well done by Ford. Heated leather seats sure are nice in the winter, most newer leather has heating and cooling now but I still get a kick out of mine. All and all a good buy for someone that may want a truck for off road and on.

Fast And Furious. — High performance, good on gas, easy in maintenance, for 3 years of owning this truck i didn't encounter with any problems at all. Interior remains as new, I ended up doing different paint job and it brought the truck excellence even better. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

Get This Truck — a lot of torque, stops on a dime, feel like a boss on the road. never needed a repair and I've had it since 2002. exterior is unique compared to body styles of the gmc or chevy. interior is grey cloth, standard for 2000 models. gets about 20 mpg. fun as hell to drive. Overall, Its A Great Truck — It's an excellent truck, it gets me where i need to go. It's got the power i need when i need it for a decent price. I love driving it with the windows rolled down blaring all sorts of music. Except for when im rolling up to the gas station putting 30 bucks in it just to get it halfway full. oh well. Nice Truck — It has your average acceleration, braking power and handling that you would find in most vehicles. I wish it had four-wheel drive though. No repairs as of yet. Perfect paint. Just broke 100,000 miles on it. Its a well rounded vehicle. | ||

ProsI love my truck , I moved to cape cod and do not drive it much, but when I have to go to boston to see my children the fuel is to much for me because I am not working anymore. ConsFuel economy is not what this truck is about, but if you need a dependable truck it would be great For me I am retired and can not afford to do the traveling I would like to do in retirement.

ProsI love the jet black color. It drives smooth and it has the little rim on the windows that keeps the rain out. ConsHitch is rusted a bit and the check engine light is on. I had it checked but they can't find anything wrong.

Ford Tough — This has been a great vehicle. Over 200k to date and no mechanical break downs other than changing an alternator, because someone crossed the jumper cables while jumping another vehicle. We have had great luck with all of our Ford trucks, we have another one with right at 400k on it and my son still drives it everyday. |
