Great Reliable Truck — Great truck. very reliable. poor fuel economy in town. Good power. decent handling and great braking. Good style. very low maintenance cost. Would buy another F-150. Would recommend to anyone seeking a lower cost truck. Compare to very over priced Toyota and Honda, GMC,Chevy trucks. This is the truck you need to buy.

One Of The Best — Good dependable vehicle for a decent price. The truck has a nice styled body and clean flowing curves in the interior of the truck. This is my second F-150 and I have only had to do minor repairs to each vehicle.

Perfect Work Truck!!!! — Good, Dependable, Reliable, Decent Power, Pull whatever i want, wish it got better gas mileage, and had alittle less mileage, and wish it was four wheel drive, but other than that it is a good truck, couldnt ask for more!

Pros

Long bed I'd buy again.

Cons

The driver rear hinge on box.

Git R Done. — It was a spirited vehicle that sold itself with it's long bed. Motor was full of powerfully black and gray combustion - green for 1999. Cost - worth every penny schilling yen peso euro and five spot. Build was spec'd as case caterpillar cummins as TRUCK!

Best truck ever made.

Cons

Gas milage

Amazing — It will run your car over no matter how fast you think you are!!! Would recommend for any person who wants an awesome truck. Only negative about owning this truck is the gas milage so make alot of money if you plan on driving this vehicle out of town or state.

Pros

Atrractive styling & colors.  Easy-to-access bed because of its stepside design.  Sliding rear window enhances storage.  Carpets, leather, engine compartment & bedliner have been reconditioned recently.

Cons

Outside seam of driver seat  has started to wear from action of driver getting in/out.  Newer shock absorbers make the ride a little firm.

It's In The Upper End Of Better-than-average To Very Good Condition. — The truck handles well and has attractive colors, design and look. Good acceleration, turning, stability and braking. Can see all four corners while turning or parking. All mechanical systems work well. The seats are comfortable and the interior has had good care. Easy to climb in and out with side steps for interior and bed. Easy to remove the tali gate when necessary.

Great Truck! — I like that it drives good and has new parts under the hood, its never been in mud, has all power and fully loaded. My dislikes are the front seats are torn, and I have put 8000.00 in it and its worth 6500.

1999 Ford F150 Is To Me The Truck Of That Decade — i like how it has plenty of torque and horse power i wish it had .373 gears rather than the .355's that it has i like the leather interior and love the way that the stepside looks on it i wish i was a lil taller but i love having the flip on the go 4x4 instead of having to get out and lock in the hubs like i had to on my 95 f150. i wish it got about 5 more miles the the gallon it gets about 18 so i guess i cant complain with that but overall i love my truck.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Still In The Works — I have used this truck to haul my 32 ft 4000 dry weigh travel trailer from Georgia to Colorado. It has new rims, paint and a bed cover since the pictures, I will try to add them. I have put a factory rebuilt engine, redone the rear end before the haul to Colorado and have done my best to hit every service onetime. I am hoping to keep this truck until it is a classic. Looking to change the paint to a primer of some kind and put in new interior. We will see.
