Have Had One Or Another Ford Truck For 40 Years — My old 1978 F-250 I bought new, I need a truck, But the wife thinks I need a new truck like I need a hole in the head of course. My '78 is just plain worn out, all the TLC I have given it considered. So...I went and test drove a 2013 F-150 .4 x4 I do not like the short bed. The 4.6 or 5.0 are the choices, at least for me, there are smaller engines but I will not consider them. I really loved all the gadgets, navigation and such, and I am a serious buyer but the deal fell through when the saleswoman wold not budge from $44,500. I really thought I was going to drive one home that day, trading Dad's Buick which I said I would never do but there is no way I can afford that. I guess my '78 is going to get me to the lumberyard...dump...still. I just can't drive it more than when really necessary. Oh, well.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)
