Gave up on getting a good price for ease of doing sale transaction rather than have to spend hours at a center such as car max. Everything went well until the car pickup when lady who came to pickup car was disorganized. Her phone did not work And spent an extra good hour for her to call her boss to get focuments in order. If it wasn’t for the last step which I believe may have been individual related the service was excellent.

The process was great insidious and uploading documents were easy and awesome communication from staff. But the lady that picked up the car entered the wrong mileage and i left a garage door opener and she missed it. The last person that picked up the car was accurate and thorough.

There was a lot of confusion in the process; I was contacted by the vehicle inspection team once to make an appointment, and then again immediately after the inspector left- because they had no idea he had been here

CarGurus had by far the best price and for the most part the process went pretty well. My biggest issue was them wanting me to take my snow tires off my car and put the factory tires back on. That in of itself is not a big deal. The problem was they called me at 7pm the night before my pickup to tell me to swap the tires. Why they didn't tell me in the almost 3 weeks between when i took the first photos and pickup i don't know. CarGurus made what could have been a flawless experience and made it frustrating.
All of the actual people involved from CarGurus and the companies they contract with were very easy to work with and were great.

Cons:
Lower cost than originally presented, took a day off work for the original scheduled pickup date and they canceled an hour before that they could not make it.
Pros:
Fair price and quick process.

The offer was lowered for inaccurate reasons. It took far too long and the process was too complicated to get paid.

The CarGuru's software left a lot to be desired. I submitted the pictures but the software did not recognize what I was sending.

Pickup didn’t happen when scheduled due to us living “outside” of their regular pickup area. So Cargurus scheduled pickup thru a 3rd party logistics company who didn’t speak English. I think both the driver who showed up and the dispatcher he was trying to call both spoke Russian. They expected me to just let them load my car on the back of a trailer being pulled by a Dodge pickup truck with no bill of sale, no paperwork, and no way to communicate my concerns or questions. I had tried calling my contact at Cargurus several times but wasn’t getting an answer. I was finally able to make the dispatcher on the phone understand that my car wasn’t leaving without me having some kind of signed paperwork. She said the only thing she had to send me was the copy of the manifest because they were just the logistics company. I had her email me a copy and I printed it out and had the driver sign it for me. I just found it very hard to believe they’d send out someone like that who was not able to communicate with the customer. I was told on the phone by Cargurus that the driver would have the bill of sale and know what all to do. None of that happened. Then the driver had to find some boards to put in front of the ramps of the trailer so he wouldn’t damage the front spoiler on my car when pulling it up on the trailer. I’m the one who found some for him. And then he kept them when was finished!!
