The offer was okay not great. They changed pickup 3 times and I'm still waiting for the bank to be paid.

Anyone that was involved in person did not look professional and did not offer any ID.

Gurus offered an ok price. I had misplaced title delays. The one thing that really bugged me was having to wait a day to deposit their check. 10AM pickup, with 3 hr wait to deposit. 3 hrs later an email to wait 3 more hours to make sure the check will not bounce. That wasn’t the deal but once they had my truck and we’re gone my hands were tied. Had I known this was how they operate I would have gone another direction.

The web site worked well, the offer was solid, and the people I spoke with on the phone were friendly and capable. The pick-up process was limited and a mess.

The whole process needs refining. Lot of people involved no one knowable about the whole process. Lot of follow up on my part to get the inspection done and to get the pick up done. Why should you bother the customertaking photos with your app only to get a revised offer for some small dents after your guy did an inspection. It felt a little like the bait and switch. What kind of BS is you can’t cash the check for 2-3 hours after pick up.

Overall experience was good.
Process was easy and streamlined.
However, they quoted my $6,500 for my car and sent a car inspector.
Because they were the highest of all the online car buyers, I didn't even finish the process with other competitors, naively believing I'd get what they quoted.

The 3rd party car inspector they sent lied on the report. Said the cruise control didn't work because he couldn't get it to work ... I was IN THE CAR WITH HIM and he didn't ask me about the cruise control which absolutely works. So he chalked it up to mechanical issues which then Car Gurus knocked $2500 off, leaving me with $4,000 and no time to start all over as I already began the process for another car.

I would say make sure you go in knowing they're going to side with whatever shiesty inspector they hire and will low ball you... But I'm sure that's the game. Lesson learned.

Requires way too many check in's. Should not need to do a walk through on my own if your going to send two different parties to come check the vehicle.

Just way to much for what it was. Car Guru's also waited once they had completed second check onto revise offer lower even though all details were mentioned before first walk through in initial sellers application.

I think it’s better to give sellers purchase price of their car after inspection is done so they can compare other offers.

The original offer on my car was lowered by quite a bit, which I did agree to. But I continually had to keep calling and texting to find out when my vehicle was going to be picked up to finalize the deal. The original pick up date went by and I didn’t hear anything. I made repeated attempts contacting you until it was finally resolved. I just don’t think that I was treated well and I won’t go through this process again. My wife and I aren’t in that great of health and this process was very stressful !
