Just a little bit of difference between what I was told I’d get by FedEx and what to do with it vs what I received and what the instructions said. But nothing that got in the way of the deal.

Everything was fine.

I fiddled around online looking to see what was the going prices and ended up placing my Chevy for sale and the experience turned out to be good.

Initial scheduled time was not honored; waited 3 hours for pickup (between 0900-1100) to learn after calling at 11:45 that first pickup personnel had an emergency and could not make it. Eventually picked up at around 15:00 the same day with a second personnel. He was very communicative and texted/called to inform us of times and possible delays; bravo to Jose.

Further, the car loan was not paid off until almost 2 weeks after the car was picked up. No tracking number was provided. According to customer service this is due to paper check mailing of payoff amount via USPS. At this day and age with the technological advances, the anxiety should not have been caused. Direct deposit/online payment should be verified with seller’s bank (my bank accepts electronic payoff) and payoff should be completed electronically if possible instead of waiting an excruciating long time of 10 days.

Otherwise great experience with customer service rep when calling and second pickup personnel! Used CarGurus for years previously with my car brokerage service and glad to finally use it to sell my vehicle.

Generally a good experience. However, on scheduled pickup day, no one showed up. They apologized profusely and pick up was rescheduled for following day.

Better explain the pick up process and the check cashing availability.

The process was quick and very easy to do, only issues came when the car was getting picked up and receiving payment.

Team was very helpful. Only reason not 5 stars is the time keeps changing on when the payoff will post to my bank on the car note. Was told 3-5 business day, then 7 business days, and now 10 business days. My bank has already notified me that they will be withdrawing another payment if they do not receive the funds in the next 2 days. There will then need to be a refund process which then take additional days. Have asked for confirmation but just keep getting told fund went out on the 19th to the bank.
