Ez and simple no hazel!

Overall this was a relatively quick and painless experience. I applaud the company for making the process easy. However, the one issue I had was the gentleman that came to pick up the car had no identification stating that he was with the company nor did he have any uniform or any business card. I literally felt like I was giving the keys to a stranger and ended up taking a photo of his license just to be sure. Once the initial transaction began he did start using an app the triggered emails and text messages that went to my phone that made me feel better about the whole process. I would suggest in the future that the company outfit their employees with the necessary identification, badging, and uniforms perhaps to make selling a car to the company a more legitimate feeling experience.

I was nervous to go through an online sales process at first but the whole thing honestly went very smooth. The entire thing was completed quite fast too.

The only downside for me was that I didnt feel fully aware and comfortable with the process. I was nervous about getting paid after my vehicle was gone. If there is some way to mitigate that feeling for sellers, this would be a 5 star experience because everything else was great.

The original pickup date had to be cancelled because the ups documents did not get to us in time. We were able to schedule the pickup 2 days later and everything went well. The pickup person was courteous and fast. The pickup in total took less than 40 minutes and the wired funds were in my account by the end of the day!

It was the easiest car sale I’ve ever had. I only had one problem with the process. The transport company changed the pickup date which did not get updated in CG’s system so I didn’t get the digital bill of sale until days later when I called. After the phone call to CS I received the bill of sale email, signed it and had my money within an hour. Overall a great experiene.

Simple and fast pay easy instructions

Very happy with the service for its simplicity and convenience though the offer you receive on your vehicle will be significantly undervalued compared to private sale. That said if you are in a hurry or need to sell quickly I would look no further than CarGurus.
