The Electrified GV70 retained the same styling, with a unique grille housing the charge port, making it convenient for charging. Inside, the GV70 boasted a distinctive interior with quilted Nappa leather, a panoramic sunroof, and unique design elements like an elliptical pod for controls and a rotary infotainment controller.

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator, built on a rear-wheel-drive platform shared with the Ford Explorer, showcased classic design proportions with a blunt nose and a tapered roofline. While the design was appealing, the 2025 styling appeared more generic, especially with the Jet Appearance Package. Inside, the Aviator offered a plush interior with a classic architectural sensibility, avoiding an overload of screens. However, the remote keyless entry fob was criticized for its cheap feel. The Aviator was available in Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label trims, with our test vehicle in Reserve trim featuring options like Whisper Blue paint and a center console between second-row captain’s chairs. The Reserve II Package added features like upgraded lighting, 30-way-adjustable front seats, and a 28-speaker Revel Ultima audio system.

The 2024 Genesis GV70 offered two gasoline engine options: a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with 375 horsepower. Both engines came with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The Electrified GV70 featured front and rear electric motors producing 429 horsepower, with a Boost Mode providing 483 horsepower for short bursts. Despite its power, the GV70's chassis tuning didn't match its sporty rivals, feeling heavier and less agile through corners. The ride quality was adequate but not exceptional, with the suspension crashing over bumps. The Electrified GV70 maintained similar driving dynamics to the gasoline model, with adjustable regenerative braking and a 236-mile range.

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator was powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine producing 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It offered driving modes like Excite, Conserve, and Normal, with adaptive air suspension firming up in Excite mode. However, the Aviator prioritized comfort over excitement, with a heavy, syrupy steering feel and a ride that didn't encourage spirited driving. The adaptive Air Glide suspension effectively controlled body motions, ensuring a composed and calming ride. The Aviator's EPA fuel economy rating was 20 mpg combined, but our test observed 17.7 mpg. Visibility was excellent, aided by thin windshield pillars and a 360-degree camera view.

Cargo space was 28.9 cubic feet with rear seats up, expanding to 56.9 cubic feet with seats folded. The stylish interior design limited small-item storage, but features like automatic side bolsters in Sport mode added to the luxury experience.

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator excelled in comfort with its Perfect Position front seats offering 30 adjustments, heating, ventilation, and massage. Second-row captain’s chairs were roomy and supportive, though the third-row seats were less accommodating for adults. Storage was excellent, with a smartphone charging pad, cupholders, and deep door pockets. Cargo space was 19.2 cubic feet with the third row up, expanding to 78.6 cubic feet with all seats folded. The Aviator lacked side window sunshades, an odd omission for a luxury SUV.
