2023 Kia Telluride Reviews SummaryKia can barely keep up with demand for the Telluride, and its dealers and customers have told the company not to change a single thing, so you’d think it unnecessary for the automaker to invest a single penny upgrading the popular three-row crossover SUV. Kia would disagree. This year, the 2023 Telluride gets minor styling changes, new technologies, and some off-roading attitude in the form of new X-Line and X-Pro trim levels. We headed to San Antonio, Texas, which has somehow become the seventh most populous city in the U.S., to sample the Telluride’s new kit. And we remain impressed with this excellent family-size sport-ute.
2023 Genesis GV70 Reviews SummaryThe definition of luxury has changed. No matter where you look in the various premium vehicle segments, there are entrants that you may not have seen decades ago. From performance SUVs to subcompact crossovers, there are new takes on upscale vehicles. But just as crucially is the entrance of new players. In 2015, the Genesis brand was officially spun off from Hyundai. And with the brand’s expansion into various segments, a compact like the 2023 Genesis GV70 was a must. The GV70 was introduced for the 2022 model year and for 2023, an all-electric model joins the lineup. We evaluated the GV70 on the whole, but with a special focus on how effective the 2023 Genesis GV70 Electrified is as an EV and as a compact luxury crossover.

Inside, the GV70's cabin impressed with top-notch materials and excellent fit and finish, blending contemporary and classic aesthetics. Both engines utilized an eight-speed automatic transmission with AWD. The GV70 Electrified model, with a 77.4-kWh battery and dual electric motors, produced 429 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, with a Boost Mode increasing output to 483 horsepower. The electric GV70 offered a range of 236 miles and fast charging capabilities. The GV70's handling balanced comfort and sportiness, with the electric version leaning slightly towards comfort.
The 2023 Kia Telluride accommodated seven or eight passengers, with premium Nappa leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, and heated and ventilated front- and second-row captain’s chairs. The interior provided ample space, with a power lumbar stabilization system for driver comfort. The second-row seats offered comfort and convenience, with features like manual sunshades, USB ports, and storage pockets. The third-row seating was accessible and comfortable for larger adults, though not as spacious as the Volkswagen Atlas. The Telluride's cargo space was generous, with 21 cubic feet behind the third row, expanding to 87 cubic feet with both rear rows folded.
