2003 Dodge Durango Running Hot But The Coolant Is Full,

my 2003 Dodge Durango gage is reading hot but the coolant is full, why is this? there is a small leak of some sort but my radiator is less than 2yrs old.

After fill up leave station and stop at a light stalls, restart and continue on then when stop again, restart and go on for several stops it is ok then it does it again. After a while it is ok.
