How much does the 2024 BMW M4 cost?

Prices have softened 3.91% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 355 listings available, which gives you a useful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 BMW M4 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 BMW M4 earns a 5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a high-performance coupe or convertible that still works in everyday use. The overview points to a twin-turbocharged inline-six, strong horsepower, and a choice of manual or automatic transmission, so you get serious performance without giving up refinement. It also offers modern convenience features and a well-equipped cabin, which helps it feel current and usable. Good and great deals account for 36.9% of listings, giving you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 BMW M4 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes the M4 as a performance model that still delivers everyday usability, which is a good sign if you want a car that can handle regular driving as well as spirited runs. Its combination of strong performance, modern equipment, and value retention also points to a model that tends to age well in the market. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying for a high-performance car without confirming that it has been maintained carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW M4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report to confirm the car has not been in a collision or had major repairs. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the drivetrain, brakes, tires, and interior condition, since performance cars can hide expensive wear. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, especially if the car has been driven hard or modified.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW M4?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 355 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.91% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $75,587, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW M4's resale value?

The current average of $76,066 sits slightly below last year's $79,164.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now while still leaving room for future resale. Because the year-round range stays relatively tight, well-kept examples should remain easier to position competitively when you decide to sell. Strong condition and clean history matter a lot here, especially in a performance model where buyers tend to be selective.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW M4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $72,169, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $76,066 average.
• It adds a rare, track-focused special edition.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $88,696, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $76,066 average.
• It adds a light refresh and a slight power bump.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want a balanced mix of price, inventory, and strong satisfaction. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value path; if you want the newest updates and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
