Why it stands out
The 2016 Toyota 4Runner continues to maintain its reputation as a rugged and reliable SUV, especially for those who prioritize off-road capability. With features such as crawl-speed control and a locking rear differential, it excels in terrains where many crossovers struggle. The vehicle's standout 4.0-liter V6 engine delivers solid performance for enthusiasts who relish adventure, though it comes with a compromise in fuel efficiency. Additionally, while the interior offers practical comforts and durable materials, the design may feel slightly dated compared to more modern vehicles. Owners often praise its reliability and resale value, with many appreciating the spacious cabin conducive to family trips and outdoor activities. Despite some criticisms regarding missing contemporary tech features, the 4Runner remains a versatile option for those seeking both performance and practicality.

This is a solid vehicle. There are some minor issues that are all covered under the extended warranty except a broken taillight. The entire light assembly is 129$ and extremely easy to replace. The inside looks like its barely been used at 97k miles. Engine sounds good and the power is immediate when you touch the pedal.
