overall

Summary
With 910 currently listed for sale and an average price of $15,373.00, 29.9% of 2015 Toyota Siennas for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2015 Toyota Sienna 4.78 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it an 8.5 / 10.
51.6% of 2015 Sienna models on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2015 Toyota Sienna stands out as a notably improved version of Toyota’s minivan, with the updated model described as more appealing than the Honda Odyssey for the first time in its history. It does not look very different from the previous year’s model, but it brings numerous upgrades and improvements in almost every respect, making it the best version of the Sienna yet and a new favorite in the class.
What makes the 2015 Sienna especially attractive is that its gains are not limited to one area. The source highlights safety as a particularly important improvement, while owner feedback points to the Sienna’s reliability, spaciousness, good power, and ease of maintenance. At the same time, some owners have noted concerns about the suspension system and lower bumpers, so while the 2015 Sienna is broadly well regarded, it is not without a few practical drawbacks.

I just buy it, so far everything good, my only complaint is about that front and back bumper are too low.

This car is the best family car Ive had: 8 passengers capacity, roomy leg space, large cargo area. Its quiet inside and quick to accelerate. It drives very comfortably and safely with eather trim, GPS navigation, Bluetooth, parking censor, and many other good features. I expect it to last for a long time because of the reputation of Toyota and this particular model was praised on Consumer Reports.

Is the 2015 Toyota Sienna a good car?
Yes — with a 4.78/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating, you’re looking at a minivan that scores strongly with both owners and testers. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.
Owners consistently praise the Sienna’s reliability, spaciousness, and impressive features. They also call out the roomy interior, good power, and ease of maintenance, which fits a family-focused vehicle that needs to handle daily duty without drama.
The overview points to a model that’s especially appealing if you want practical family transportation with broad improvements across the board, not just one standout feature. That makes it a strong fit if you value utility, comfort, and a well-rounded ownership experience.
26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you have some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2015 Toyota Sienna reliable?
Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability, and the broader summary points to a vehicle that owners feel good about living with over time.
The test-drive notes reinforce that impression with language about improved ride quality, handling, and a powertrain that delivers smooth, broad-shouldered acceleration. The cost-effectiveness discussion also notes free scheduled maintenance during the first couple of years of ownership, which helps reduce early ownership friction.
For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core reputation and more about how individual examples were maintained, especially given the concerns some owners raise about suspension-related issues and lower bumpers.
What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Sienna?
At 52.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a careful inspection of bodywork, suspension condition, and any signs of prior repair. Because some owners mention suspension concerns and lower-bumper issues, those areas deserve extra attention during a test drive and walkaround.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The Limited trim stands out for its upscale equipment, including power sliding doors, power folding third-row seats, front and rear sunroofs, navigation with live traffic, and a rear-seat entertainment system. It suits you best if you want the most comfort and convenience, while lower trims may leave out some of those luxury touches.
- Powertrain: The 3.5-liter V6 makes 266 hp and works with a 6-speed automatic. It’s described as smooth and strong, and the Sienna is also noted as the only minivan available with all-wheel drive, which can be a useful advantage if you want extra traction.
- Safety package: The available safety tech includes blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, dynamic radar cruise control, and Pre-Collision System. Safety Connect, with Automatic Collision Notification and an SOS emergency button, is reserved for the Limited model.
- Infotainment: The Sienna uses a 7-inch display with intuitive controls, and the system includes smartphone-connected apps, advanced voice recognition, USB 2.0 fast-charge ports, and HD predictive traffic and Doppler weather overlays.
- Fuel efficiency: The EPA estimate is 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway, with 21 mpg combined. The test vehicle returned 20.1 mpg in mixed use.
Which 2015 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?
The 2015 Toyota Sienna is offered in 1 trim level: Limited.
Here's the short version:
The Limited: is the clear choice if you want the most fully equipped version of this Sienna. It brings the upscale features highlighted in the test-drive data, including power sliding doors, power folding third-row seats, front and rear sunroofs, navigation with live traffic, and a rear-seat entertainment system. It’s the best fit if you want maximum family-hauling convenience and comfort in one package.
The safety package is a strong part of the appeal, but Safety Connect is reserved for the Limited model, so that trim carries an important advantage if you want the most complete safety and convenience setup.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Sienna?

- Deal availability: 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 908 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 1.27% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 52.9% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $14,728.25, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Toyota Sienna's resale value?
The current average of $15,290 sits slightly below last year's $15,487.
That modest decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.
Because the Sienna has strong owner satisfaction and a reputation for practicality, well-kept examples should continue to attract family buyers. That demand helps support resale value even when the broader market moves down.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2015 Toyota Sienna safe?
The 2015 Sienna earns a Top Safety Pick from the IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with top scores in all parameters. It also earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.
Toyota equips the Sienna with blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, dynamic radar cruise control, and Pre-Collision System. Those features give you a meaningful safety net in everyday driving, especially when you’re carrying passengers and navigating busy traffic.
One important caveat is that the Sienna scored Acceptable in the IIHS small-overlap frontal-crash test, so it isn’t perfect across every crash scenario. Safety Connect is also limited to the Limited model, which means some safety convenience features are not spread across the full lineup.
Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 52.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 1.27% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
- It brings major safety and technology upgrades that make it the strongest Sienna yet.
Consider the 2014 if:
- At $13,138, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $15,290 average.
- It’s a practical, utility-first minivan with a strong focus on passenger comfort.
Consider the 2016 if:
- At $17,428, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $15,290 average.
- It adds Siri Eyes Free for iPhone users, improving convenience and voice control.
The bottom line: If you want the best all-around version of this minivan, the 2015 is the one to target. If your priority is saving money, the 2014 is the better value play, while the 2016 makes sense if you specifically want the added voice-control upgrade and are willing to pay more.
