whats wrong with my car
everytime i start my car i have a squelling noise followed by knocking and the pulley above my crankshaft pulley is wobbling and rubbing the motor in one spot thats the squeeling part but i dont know what this means.
check the engine mounts~
what they look like~ loose lolli?
check the belt tensioner for wear...replace the belt~
i know its not loose engine mounts i cant tell if the pulleys loose or if the rods trown it has new mounts and its a new motor to the car but its a rebuilt junk yard motor
The pulley above the crankshaft is the water pump pulley. The pump might be on the way out, or the pulley is cracked. Also check the other pulleys. Replace the parts sooner than later before you are stranded.
