Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My brake lights quit working on my 97
ford explorer I have replaced the fuse
and replaced the brake light switch but
still nothing.
Turn signal and tail lights work but no
brake lights.
I can't see it being the bulbs ( not all 3
at the same time )
So any thoughts ?

If you now have a good fuse in the circuit, see if you have continuity between the fuse and one of the brake light bulbs. If you do, it is likely to be the bulbs/sockets or switch connection. If you don't, the wire is cut or disconnected in between.
