That sounds like trouble....walk slowly away, no seriously had a Triumph Spitfire who's clutch would engage only when you pressed the hell out of it, I replaced hydraulics, pivot pin and still the problem remained....finally sold it to a co-worker who informed me the Crank had a diagonal split in two pieces and was pushing the back back into the clutch...so yeah...count on a new motor~

It sounds like you mean the clutch throwout bearing, it still means that you will need to remove the transmission so if your that far then you might as well replace the clutch assembly, everything you need should come in a kit, new disc, pressure plate throwout bearing, pilot bushing or bearing, don't forget to have the flywheel resurfaced and replace the rear main seal at that time also. Keep in mind that if Mitsubishi's sales don't improve they will be pulling out of the US market.

Daniel, this isn't about me, it is about car problems~ Personally will not allow evil things into the temple...perhaps you've experience with this, but I haven't~ stop with the attacks...no good could possibly come from negative energy~

seriously, do you have NO sense of humor? medicinal herb, everyone should smoke it and mellow out---especially you, my man...get diagnosed with MS and forcibly taken out of the workplace...then see just how Jolly and with a smile you are able to cope with life~

Mistubishi made the ZERO, that's why the crack about "zeroes were meant to last just a little while"=, poor bastards would take out their own life with the hopes of hurting the American aircraft carriers...I could be insane, but know a few things~

there is no way to replace a crankshaft bearing without a complete engine rebuild...on a stand~ with thickness gauges to establish a proper fit~

still not clear on which bearing? feel like a fool~
