Your B3000 is basically a Ford Ranger with a 3.0L Vulcan 2 valve engine. Not a bad truck at all. I've seen a couple of guys spend lots of money trying to make a race car out of this truck. First, you'll have to find a way to get past the 92 MPH speed limiter in the PCM. Larger injectors, Bigger Exhaust, Roller Rockers and then some. My suggestion is to doll it up, add a cat-back exhaust to make it sound nice and enjoy your little truck. The powertrain - although reliable and sturdy - wasn't designed for High Performance.
