Used 2005 Mazda B-Series for Sale near Columbus, IN
For 2005, Mazda upgraded its higher-end Dual Sport and SE B-Series trucks by adding such standard features as power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, all of which were once optional. Other than that, Mazda made no major changes to its line of popular compact trucks, except for the addition of a few new colors.
The B-Series trucks were available in both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions. The two-wheel-drive trucks came with two engine options -- a 143-horsepower 2.3-liter four-cylinder or a 154-horsepower 3.0-liter V6, with either a standard or an extended cab. The four-wheel-drive models were equipped with a 207-horsepower 4.0-liter V6, and came with either a standard or extended cab. All extended (or Cab Plus) models came with four doors.
The base B-Series trucks with the 2.3-liter engine came with such features as four-wheel anti-lock brakes, power steering, dual airbags, and intermittent windshield wipers. Models with the 3.0-liter engine added air conditioning and a CD player, among other features.
Generally, drivers agreed that for a light truck, the B-Series was reliable, economical, and fun to drive. Most noted that it couldn't compete with more heavyweight trucks, but the B-Series was considered a good value that stood up well to the rigors of daily life.

(5 reviews)This truck has great power and a smooth ride. The acceleration ,braking and handling is very good. I feel like this is a safe truck to drive. I would not be afraid to take this truck on a long road trip.
I like how the truck rides and the way it handles the road. Haven't found anything I don't like about it. I like the power it has for a truck , feels like you are riding in a car. Like the ease of getting in and out of truck.
The acceleration on this truck is great and the handling and braking are also great. This truck would good to take on vacation, it has ample room and just an overall smooth ride. It is a fun truck to drive!
Was a diesel... first diesel I had ever driven... It was good for what is was. an un-glorified working ute. Yes it had its rattles, but it was the aluminum fold down sides that caused the rattle. It was turbo-charged one that ran better in the high revs. Off-road was wonderful.
An easy to repair and cost effective vehicle to own. 2.5 litre turbo diesel WL engine is a simple yet powerful general engine to service. Timing belt is very easy to install and fuel consumption is better than expected. Made in Taiwan these vehicles are not as detailed inside as other four wheel drives but will suit anyone who buys this vehicle as a general daily driver. Torsion bar front end makes the ride smooth but the rear leaf spring arrangement makes a stiff ride for rear passengers. Light in the tail so it is easy to loose traction and there is enough butnot the best room for the backseat passengers in the dual cab.
