Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This only seems to happen when the car gets warmer after driving for about 30 miles or so and at highway speed.  The car almost seems as if it does not know when to downshift to accelerate.  When I was driving it the other day I turned the Overdrive off and it seems to stop.  Accelerated up the next hill and it never came out of gear or revved the engine because it could not find the gear.  Does anyone know the cause of this?  I have taken it two separate transmission shops and they could not even get it to act up.
