I have a 1999 gt mustang that is an automatic with only 90000 miles but i want to convert it to a manual. Would it be worth it to can it?

"Worth" is what you value the cost to do it. Yes, you can do it. Go to a salvage yard and get the complete tranny with ALL the linkage. You will also need to put in a clutch, etc. Really, you are biting off a big job when it would be cheaper to go trade/sell your 99 and buy a newer one with what you want on it.
