How easy would it be to take an automatic 1970's mustang and convert it into a manual?

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 1970 mustang that has an automatic transmission and I really want to make it a
manual. Is it a possibility or is it to much work?

Yes it will be a lot of work but it can be done, the biggest headache will be the pedal tree under the dash.

Besides the engine and a transmission what other parts would I need, and would an 03 transmission be compatible with a 99 engine?

Whoa now that is a totally different ball game, now getting electronics involved. Go back to old school.

Ok. So besides the engine and the transmission what do I need?
