he needs to check to see if there is pressure at the rails, I can't believe he doesn't know how to do that??????

Thank you, I will tell him.

Where are the rails?

He needs to recheck the timing marks, and you need to invest in a mechanics bible. A haynes guide or a chiltons manual on your year model of honda. It will give you advice on how to find a better mechanic
