I have a 1990 honda civic hatchback. I accidently hooked my stereo earth to the illumunation wire for the stereo. It blew fuse 7 and when I replaced fuse the park lights and everything on that circuit
I have tried unplugging most plugs to see if in any switches with no luck. Doesn't seem to be the headlight switch. And I checked all the relays I could see to make sure they weren't fused shut. Am sort of thing it could be in the box iself.
Check down by the starter. There may be a fuseable link that has burned out. HTH. -Jim
Thanks Jim, I can't turn the park lights etc off even when the key is off. The only way I can stop it is to pull fuse 7 out which is ok.
So current is "bleeding" through that circuit. What happenes when you disconnect the stereo? Any changes? -Jim
Have disconnected stereo to no avail. Even tried unplugging headlight switch.
