What does it mean when push the gas pedal and take minute to shift
Do u mean down shift
not sure of your question either. but non the less. STEP 1 check tranny fluid level. assuming its auto. if its not then your question is just silly. and does it really take a full minute to change gears? thats just not safe. smh
No meant sec or so before it shift will I'm accelerating
Yes I've check my fluids
While I'm accelerating sorry about that phone stupid sometimes
No I don't down shift there no reason for that ....some told it could be idel air control valve
your 1993 might have tranny fluid level ok BUT what colour is the fluid, you probably have enough miles to warrant a fluid change with screens and filter too. and I mean a real fluid change - NOT A PHONY FLUSH.
The Idle air control valve is probably right its not the transmission right out the bat. The car just takes a second to get going case the throttle response is bad caused by the idle air control valve. Seafoam it to put 1.5 ounces of seafoam per quart of oil into the oil filler and drive it until your next oil change put some in your gas take it'll clean out your injectors, great stuff it is.
