Civic coolant leak from headgasket
I just build my b18c1 from top to bottom and I
have 200 miles on it already and I noticed that I
have a small coolant leak on south west corner of
motor . I wanna know why and is it gonna hurt my
From headgasket but its a brand new gasket so idk why
the head was not faced properly~ or the gasket is old and defective...be sure with a hard straight edge that it is all straight and needs no machining~ after you've gotten it apart~
Yes, its gonna hurt the motor. Take it apart and fix it before the engine is destroyed from over heating.
What do I gotta do to fix it. The machine shop put it together with brand new gasket . It doesnt leak bad that I gotta add coolant . Just few drops but you can see it corner of headgasket
put a pressure tester on there and pump it up...it will spray....and we can see where the leak is...hopefully is not a cracked block~
Its leaking leftcorner where where 1st header
